I’d like to meet the 8-year-old who can assemble this by themselves. Some of the thicker pieces are physically difficult to remove from the forms. Some of the rubber bands take quite a bit of physical dexterity to install. They give you a great many extra parts in case you make a mistake. It took me 3 hours to assemble while sitting on a hardwood floor, but it was worth it. All of the kids had fun and competed to get a perfect score. My 10-year-old takes very good care of it because he likes it so much.

Be prepared to take some time to help build the pinball set, but once assembled, it’s a great toy! Lots of fun to play, surprisingly sturdy, and has lots of features! Score points by hitting the switch to drop red balls, hitting the hit target to send mini yellow balls down the ramp, hitting the poppers out of the playfield, and even an extra ball slot to add 2 balls into play. Very pleased with my purchase!

This is a cool item, and I enjoyed it. I built it, and it was not that hard, so I’d say the age range is about 9+. It is pretty big, so keep it somewhere safe and big so it doesn’t fall. I’ve built many Smartivity products, and this one for me is the best. I’ve never played pinball before, so this taught me how to play, and it is fun. This is amazing!
