The kit is complete and comes with a few extra nuts and bolts. The booklet has good detail, and it’s a complete walkthrough of the process. Great product. 10-year-old nephew had a robot birthday. This kit was the easiest to assemble out of all the gifts.
The remote is a little finicky and needs to be approximately behind the unit to work correctly, but that is to be expected with only one receiver. Only a few parts were too small to be assembled by a 10-year-old, but with adult supervision, it was easy.

If you are looking for a simple robotic kit, you can’t go wrong here. Easy to assemble, and it even comes pre-programmed in all four modes. No coding is necessary unless you are looking to tweak the code.

The kit is of excellent quality, and the instructions are clearly written. The tutorials are comprehensive and easy to follow. I had a problem with one of the sensors in the kit. I contacted support, and they were very helpful and prompt in resolving my issue.

As a senior with less than steady hands, I still put this together and had it working in a little over an hour; however, I am generally familiar with the mechanical and electronic aspects of the unit. It comes preprogrammed and ready to run once assembled, and watching it skitter across the floor changing directions when it detects an obstacle is fun for a while; however, for me, the real beauty of it is that it can be reprogrammed by the user as an exercise in learning AI. All the necessary tools are included; however, a set of spin tights is useful. Lock washers might have been a good idea. I’m sending one to my grandson for his birthday.
